It is important to keep in mind that Linguee is not a translator. Linguee is a search engine for translations available on the web and it also provides the users with editorial dictionaries in the combinations: English-Portuguese, English-German, English-Spanish and English-French. That is why it is possible to find words in context and look at examples of how other people have translated the words one is searching for.

I am an ESL teacher from Latvia and I am currently writing a reseach paper about CALL (computer assisted language learning) and Teaching with technology. Just like you I came across the book by Dudeney and Hockly and thus discovered a huge variety of interactive activities for language learners that the Internet and PC can provide! One of them is the keypal project which seems a fascinating idea to set up in my class! Unfortunately I haven`t had a chance to implement this kind of project before but now I am willing to do it as soos as possible! So right now I am looking for another teacher who would like to collaborate! If you are interested or you can share any ideas concerning the topic, please do let me know!
